When to apply?
The best time to inquire about applying is before the season begins. We are activily looking for people each year in October. From there, we will schedule an Employee's Day at the rink for all potential hires and go over any questions.
What do employees do?
Employees help all around the rink making sure everyone is being safe and following rules. They make sure the area is clean and in order. They help clean skates and assist any customers who are in need.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, we hire ages 16 and older.
Do I need to know how to skate?
Yes, employees spend time on the ice monitoring all skaters and need to be able to skate. Employees will switch between being on the ice and helping with skate rentals. Help may also be needed during ice resurfacing.
What hours are needed to cover?
We operate primarily on the weekends and holiday weeks, and we need people who are also free at those times.
